Food and Family in China

We met at a famous restaurant "DAOXIANG" for Dim Sum, where I met Vicky's family for the first time - both her parents and her god parents (who were key people in her life).  They were very entheusiastic about their food and all manner of stuff was on the table.  The dish in the bamboo on one photo was some sort of fish heads (which I avoided), but I did try the cow's stomach.

At Vicky's suggestion, I purchased lottery tickets for her father who loves to play the lottery in China.  Believe it or not he won the NJ Lottery (got a $20 win).  I cashed it for him so he didn't have to fly to NJ to claim the funds.

At the end of the day we ended up in a Beauty Salon where Vicky wanted to reconnect with some old friends.  One little fellow offered me some dried seaweed (which I just had to try, given the cuteness factor), so I offered to do an impromptu family portrait.
